The social network says it will no longer tolerate users posting updates such as ‘Why????’, ‘I Know…’ or ‘*sigh*’ to the site and have designed a special algorithm that will automatically delete the guilty account.

Google buys $1 billion of VHS tapes

After Facebook’s acquisition of the photo site Instagram, Google has announced plans to buy $1 billion worth of VHS tapes, in a further bid to cash in on nostalgia. All existing and future YouTube content will be transferred to VHS, and users of the site will have to ‘rent’ any clips they want to see – the requested tape will then be posted to them within seven days.
